Bio

Gertrude Robbins is the fourth of five children born to her parents and the youngest girl. In 1899, she marries Dr. Walter G. Crandall, who is a dentist. They live in Spencer, Iowa until about 1920, when the family moves to Los Angeles, California. Gertrude lives only about ten years in California, dying in 1930, at the age of 53. Her surviving children were Mrs. Carol Blackmore of Pensacola, FL; Kenneth H. Crandall of Dallas, TX; and Richard R. Crandall of Los Angeles.
