Jo Nell Lynskey, 83, of Olton, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012, in Olton. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Olton Cemetery with Mr. Bo Rankin officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Jo Nell was born October 12, 1929 in Collingsworth County, Texas to Arthur and Eunice Webb Rankin. She was a homemaker and moved to Olton from Denton in 1980. The most important thing in life to Jo Nell was her family and she will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Glen Rankin. Survivors include her son, Eddy Lynskey of Gainesville, TX, two daughters, Rita Poynor of Prosper, TX and Maria Wheeler of Ponder, TX, four sisters, Louise Wuthrich of White Face, Lilly McCoy and her husband, Gayle of Spade, Nina Smith of Olton, and Beth Reed and her husband, Gary of Olton, four brothers, Rudolph Rankin and his wife, Linda of Miami, TX, James Rankin and his wife, Wanda of Canadian, Wayne Rankin of Canadian, and Jay Rankin and his wife, Barbara of Freedom, OK. He was blessed with five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
