"DIED. -- John Janak, at his home July 14, 1902. He was born in the province of Moravia in Austria and was 51 years, 6 months and 7 days of age at the time of his death. Mr. Janak was a citizen of Weston for 12 years and was well liked by all who knew him. The funeral services were held at the Catholic church Wednesday, Rev. Vlcek, of Plasi officiating. The Catholic lodge, of which he was a member, and a long procession followed the remains to the last resting place at the Catholic cemetery. He leaves a wife and eight children to mourn his loss." - Wahoo Wasp; July 17, 1902 "CARD OF THANKS. -- We wish to return our heartfelt thanks to those kind friends who assisted us during the illness and burial of our dear husband and father.
