Jo Lillian Anderson SWEETWATER -- Jo Lillian Anderson, 94, of Lubbock, mother of an Abilene resident, died Monday in Lubbock. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Garden of Memories Cemetery with James Wilks officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home. Mrs. Anderson was born in Paris, Texas, and moved to California in 1941 and Lubbock in 1976. She was a retired cashier. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was the widow of Carl L. Anderson, whom she married in 1956 in Carson City, Nev. Survivors include one daughter, LaNelle Hodge of Abilene; one son, C.W. Edwards of Lubbock; two sisters, Athula Harris of Midland and Wahita Moore of Corpus Christi; one brother, Gerald Johnson of Midland; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five step grandchildren.
