Born July 20, 1860 at Hrotovice #11, Okres Třebíč, Vysočina and baptized July 21, the son of František Blatný and his wife Marianna Divišová. Married Frances Bratrsovsky on April 2, 1888 at Linwood, Nebr. by Joseph Hovorka, Catholic priest. '''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 19, 1914, p. 8, col. 3 Linwood Jacob Blatny, aged 53 years, died at his home northwest of Linwood Tuesday morning, Feb. 17. He leaves his wife, three sons and three daughters in good circumstances. The funeral services were held in the Catholic church in Linwood on Thursday, Feb. 19. Interment was in the Linwood Hill cemetery.
