Mildred M. Scruggs -- native of Texas: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Express-Times, The (Easton, PA) - Wednesday, May 12, 1999 Deceased Name: Mildred M. Scruggs -- native of Texas Mildred M. Scruggs, 59, of Bedminster Township, N.J., died Tuesday, May 11, in her home. She was a homemaker. Born in Mart, Texas, she was a daughter of Ella Mladenka Fridel of West, Texas, and the late Joseph Fridel. She formerly lived in Readington Township for 18 years before moving to Bedminister Township in March. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flemington. Her husband, Donald O., died in 1993. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three daughters, Stacy of Hoboken, N.J., Lorri Zeiders of Merchantville, N.J., and Donna Cox of Basking Ridge, N.J.; a brother, Emil of West; and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Highway 31, Flemington. Call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington. The family requests memorials to the Mildred M. Scruggs Fund at the church, 201 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
