From Moberly Monitor-Index, Friday, 8-2-1929, Ancestry.com, pg. 3 MARRIED LAST NIGHT Mrs. Pearl Levick and J. D. Walker, both of Moberly, were married at 8 o'clock last night at the home of the officiating minister, the Rev. E. V. Lamb, 129 Kirby street. After a honeymoon in the west the couple will be at home at 1111 Franklin street. Mr. Walker is employed in the Wabash store room here. WALKER, 76, DIES HERE AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS Mrs. Pearl Neth Walker, 76, died at her home at 1111 Franklin street at 7:30 o'clock this morning after a lingering illness. Mrs. Walker spent her entire life in Moberly. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Allen Jones, Mrs. Bertha Woodington, Mrs. Anna Vandergrit and Mrs. Ruby Hackett, all of Moberly. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and the pastor, Dr. Merle Mitchell, will officiate at funeral services at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Mahan Chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. The body will remain at the Mahan Funeral Home until time for services. - from contributor Tom Waters
