From The Wolbach Messenger, October 26, 1967, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Albert Lee Trosper, son of Franklin and Sena Reynolds Trosper, was born March 22, 1895 at Hamburg, Iowa. He departed this life on October 21, 1967 at the Lincoln General Hospital, Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 29 days, having suffered several years with a heart ailment. Death came as result of complications. He came to Nebraska with his parents and brothers when he was eight years old. Albert attended school and grew to manhood in Boone County. On September 23, 1916 he was united in marriage to Inez Kinney at Albion, Nebraska. To this union were born nine children. The family resided in Boone County until 1924, then they moved to Greeley County and resided in the Spalding, Greeley and Wolbach areas respectively until 1957, when they retired from the farm and moved to Lincoln. Since residing in Lincoln he had been employed by the State Hospital until his retirement in 1963. Albert and his wife celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on September 23, 1966. Albert was baptized in the Christian faith and attended the Methodist Church in the communities where he resided since his youth. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Inez; four sons, Reynold of Fullerton, Max of Wolbach, Thomas of Lincoln and Dean of Central City; four daughters, Mrs. Gilda Luft of Palmer, Mrs. Imogene Kolar of Wolbach, Mrs. Joyce Young of Tonapah, Nevada and Mrs. Eleanor Perry of Grand Island; 27 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles of Santa Susana, California and Clyde of Ogallala, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, Norbert, two brothers and four grandchildren.
