Bio

Herley S. Linville, 98, of Route 2, Westmoreland, died Tuesday, July 1, 1980, at the Sumner County Memorial Hospital. He is survived by six, daughters, Mrs. Avie McWhirter, Mrs. Vergie Burroughs, Mrs. W.B. Flatt, Mrs. Gladys Howser and Miss Rosie Lee Linville, all of Westmoreland and Mrs. Macie Hickman of Madison; two brothers, H.B. Linville of Gallatin; G.E. Linville of Lawrenceburg; one sister, Mrs. Eunice Bennett of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 3, at 10:00am at Rocky Mound Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. (Obit submitted by Great-grandson, Terry Howser)
