KIFER Oliver E. (Clarion Democrat, 2/6/1890) Scotch Hill – We regret to be called upon to announce the death of O. Kifer, a seventeen-year-old son of Andrew Kifer, of near this place, which occurred on last Tuesday morning at 2 o'clock after an illness of two months duration. The first symptoms of the disease were those of a person afflicted with the grippe which later developed into paralysis. He bore his sufferings with true heroism and sought and found peace with his Saviour before the messenger came. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
