RENNER SPIDELL, 57, Dies in Omaha; Funeral Tuesday Renner L. "Shorty" Spidell 57, of Omaha, who lived here from his boyhood until 1968, died from a sudden illness Friday, November 15, 1968, at Lutheran Hospital in Omaha. Mr. Spidell was employed as an investigator in the Nebraska State Department of Motor Vehicles. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 19, 1968 at 9 a.m. at St. Agnes Church 23rd and Q Omaha. Rosary will be at 8 o'clock tonight at Larkin Funeral Home in Omaha. Mr. Spidell was born April 3, 1911, at Burlingame, Kansas, son of Chester L. and Mattie E. Spidell. His mother preceded him in death September 8, 1968. Survivors are his wife, Marjorie, of Omaha, his father, Chester L. of Plattsmouth; daughters: Mrs. John (Jennie) Williamson of Plattsmouth and Mrs. John (Billie) Giesenhoff of Alderwood Manor, Washington; sons Stuart S. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Donald, Daniel and Dennis of Omaha, and 12 grandchildren.
