Kucera, Allan Carl July 1942 - Oct. 2012. Allan departed to his heavenly home Oct. 19, 2012 at the age of 70 in Peoria at Hospice of Ariz. Allan was born July 2, 1942 in Columbus, Neb. to Adolf and Sylvia Kucera. He grew up in Schuyler, Neb. After graduating high school he entered the Navy where he is a retired reservist of 20 yrs of service. He settled in Phoenix after getting out of Active Duty. He was employed by APS/SW Gas Corp. until he retired in Sept. '01. After he retired he enjoyed lending a helping hand to people at his church, by taking them to appointments, shopping and also going out to eat with them. He is survived by his wife Donna of 15 yrs. Sons: Keir, Eric (Sheri), Adam (Heather) and daughters Andrea (Peter), Brenda (Brad) and 9 grandchildren. Step-sons Jim and Wyatt and step-daughters Rhonda (Dave) and Tracy (Scott). Brother Calvin and sister Carol Jonas and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at Deer Valley Light & Life Church at 15220 N. 39th Ave. Sat. Oct. 27, 2012 at 1:00pm with Pastor Joel McLaughlin officiating.
