He had been a resident of the Armstrong community for about six years. Besides his wife and father, John Krough, he is survived by two daughters, Louella, 13, and Betty, 11; one son, John, 15; four brothers, Levi of Waseca, Minn., Raymond of Omaha, Neb., and Fred and Ralph of Maple Hill; and two sisters, Mrs. Bert Cronk of Armstrong and Mrs. Delmar Olson of Ringsted. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 6, 1939) ------------------------------------------ Armstrong Man Dies Suddenly Monday Morning Clive Krough, 37, of Armstrong died yesterday morning at 9 o’clock at his home, after an illness of one week of pneumonia. Mr. Krough has lived in the vicinity of Armstrong for nearly six years. He is survived by his wife and father, John Krough; two daughters, Louella 13, and Betty 11; one son Joh 15; four brothers, Levi of Waseca, Minn., Raymond of Omaha, Nebr., and Fred and Ralph of Maple Hill; and two sisters, Mrs. Bert Cronk of Armstrong and Mrs. Delmar Olson of Ringsted. Morning Funeral services for Clive Krough, 37, of Armstrong, were held this afternoon in the Presbyterian church of that city at 2 o’clock. Mr. Krough died at his farm home south of Armstrong at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning after a short illness. He had lived in the vicinity for the past six years. Surviving him are his wife, his father, John Krough, three children, John, 15, Louella, 13, and Betty, 11, four brothers, Ralph and Fred of Maple Hill, Levi of Waseca, Minn., and Raymond of Omaha, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. Delmar Olson of Ringsted, and Mrs. Bert Cronk of Armstrong.
