Bio
Betty Jean Pusl 1928 ~ 2013 Betty Jean Pusl returned to her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2013 in Boise, Idaho. Betty was the youngest child of Clive and Nellie Krough and spent a happy childhood on a farm in rural Iowa. She moved with her family to Walla Walla, Washington after graduating early from high school where shemet Jerome Pusl who was born and raised in South Dakota. He was serving as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps there. They were married on April 30, 1945. Together, Betty and Jerry raised three children, Patricia Barclay, Gary Pusl, and Shelly Boratko. They later became the proud grandparents to seven granddaughters and six great grandchildren. Betty loved to sing and was especially fond of Christmas and sacred music. She was heavily involved in the Catholic Church as a young mother and ran her own sacred objects store out of her back porch. Betty was known in her later years for her cheerful demeanor and sense of humor even as her declining health limited her activities. Betty's family would like to thank the staff at Overland Court Care Center and Life's Doors Hospice for the loving care they provided her in Betty's last few months. Graveside service will take place Tuesday, September 10th at 11:00am at Dry Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to a favorite charity of your choice.
