WORRALL Bolf Extine In 1867 he homesteaded in Section 26 Bohemia precinct, and ever since then he has resided on this land. Mr. Extine is 96 years of age and is counted the oldest person now living in that part of the county. He claims to be the first person to break the prairies south of the Platte this was done with a yoke made himself, he sharpened the lay by placing it on a rock and using another one for a hammer. Mr. Extine would remind a person of Father Meeker who has made three trips overland to Oregon and back with a team of oxen hitched to a prairie schooner. Mr. Extine is a Bohemian and can talk very little English, our conversation had to be done through an interpreter and on account of his age it was very hard for us to get more of the early reminiscence. He can drive to town yet by himself and we believe he will see several more winters before he crosses the great divide.
