Bio

The Wellington Leader June 4, 1981 Mrs. Tom G. Barker, 38, of Dozier died Thursday, May 28, in Shamrock General Hospital after an illness of approximately a year and a hold. Mrs. Barker had lived at Dozier 20 years, coming there from Arkansas. The former Jewel Mae Baker, the daughter of Floyd Baker and the late Mrs. Baker, she was born at Camden, Arkansas, June 19, 1942. She and Mr. Barker were married April 25, 1961, at Lela. She was a member of Samnorwood Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband; a daughter, Rose Mary Barker; a son, Tommy Glen Barker, all of Dozier; her father, Floyd Baker of Camden, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Alpha Craig and Mrs. Kay Ellison of Shamrock; 5 brothers, Wesley Baker of Poplar, CA; Freddy Baker of Camden; Sid Baker, Donald Baker and Xruman Baker, all of Borger.
