Freddie Wayne Baker I SHAMROCK - Freddie Wayne Baker I, 59, died Tuesday, March 1, 2005. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Calvary Christian Fellowship with Joe G. Jernigan and Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Dozier Cemetery in Dozier by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian. Mr. Baker was born March 9, 1945 in Delaney, Arkansas, to the late Floyd Baker and Evizene Brisco Baker. He attended schools in Delaney, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. He married Carol Sides Baker on Sept. 20, 2003, in Wheeler. He moved to Shamrock, Texas in 1990 from Camden, Arkansas. He was self employed and a member of Calvary Christian Fellowship. He was preceded in death by one son Teddy Dewayne Baker, two brothers, Wesley Baker and Sid Baker and one sister Jewel Barker. Survivors include his wife Carol of Shamrock; a son, Freddie Wayne Baker II of Childress; two daughters, Fredtia Joyce Baker and LaWayne Netia Bustillos, both of Childress; two brothers, Truman Baker and Donald Baker, both of Cave Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Alpha Craig of Borger and Kay Stewart of Willits, Calif.; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Calvary Christian Fellowship, 913 S. Main St., Shamrock, TX 79079. Amarillo Globe-News, March 3, 2005
