Bio
Alma Dyess Cloud 1916-2012 Alma was born in Rosinton, AL. She loved the Lord and taught Sunday School for more than 40 years. She loved visiting with family & friends and watching her flowers bloom. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Earl; her mother & father, and twelve out of fourteen brothers & sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Slocovich (George) of Pensacola and Earlene Edwards of Pisgah Forest, NC. She has two surviving sisters: Irma Cox of Eagle Creek, OR and Esther Riendeau of Robertsdale, AL. She has four grandchildren: Debbie Shaver (Rick) of Bremerton, WA; Janet McCall (Audie) of Pisgah Forest, NC; David Slocovich, and Michael Slocovich. She has four great-grandchildren: Josh Shaver, Jordon (Jeramy) Clark, Lacee McCall, Neil Slocovich and also one great great-grandchild. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 16 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. A celebration of Alma's life will be held Wednesday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. at West Highland Baptist Church with Reverend Larry Galbreath and Reverend Fred Dyess officiating. Burial with follow in Bayview Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gordon Dyess, Steve Dyess, Marion Dyess, Cecil Dyess, Neil Slocovich and Bob Hodges. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Cloud and David and Michael Slocovich. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Highland Baptist Church, 1500 Hollywood Street, .
