Married Nov 13 1938 Valley Co, NE ---------------------------------------------------- Emil Zadina Rites held July 6 Emil Zadina was born July 6, 1916 in the Geranium Township of Valley County to Frank and Francis Seda Zadina Sr., and died July 2, 1990 at the Valley County Hospital in Ord at the age of 73. Emil was raised in the Geranium Township and attended school at the Hillside Rural School Dist. #30. He also attended Ord High School for two years. He married Erma Novotny on November 15, 1938, at the Geranium Catholic Church. He farmed east and west of Ord and later moved to a farm west of North Loup where they farmed for 30 years. He retired in 1979 and moved into Ord in 1980. Emil is survived by his wife Erma of Ord; two brothers, Edward of Wilber, NE and Frank Jr., of Ord; and a half-sister Lillian Sedlacek of Ord; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, July 6, 1990 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with burial in the Ord City Cemetery. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Jul 12 1990, Pg 8, Col 2
