Bio

Beulah Kubala Hengst, 94, of Bellville, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, at Finch Funeral Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Beulah was born in Yorktown, Texas, to the late Joe J. and Minnie (Jalufka) Kubala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gustav Hengst; a daughter, Wanda Kay Hengst; sons, Frankie and Aron Hengst; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Hengst; sisters, Olga Ender and Mary Stepan; and brothers, Frank Kubala, George Kubala and Jim Kubala. She is survived by her daughter, Luwanna Schubert and husband, Fred, of Bellville; sons, Gus Hengst and wife, Teresa, of Nueva Laredo, Mexico, and Rex Hengst and wife, Gladys, of Belton; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relaties and numerous friends.
