Son of Henri Bonne -------------------------------------------------- Emiel Bonne Service In Ord On Saturday; Died Here March 31 Emiel Bonne, 93, died Mar. 31, 1966, at the Valley County Hospital after a two year illness. He had been bedfast the past month. Funeral services for Mr. Bonne were held at 10 am Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Burial was in the Ord City Cemetery. Emiel Bonne was born Mar. 8, 1873, at Ruiselede, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium to Henry and Marie DeSmet Bonne. He came to Butler County in 1901, returning to Belgium in 1905 for a short time where he married Emilie Pieters Feb. 22, 1905. In 1919 they moved to Valley county and farmed southwest of Ord until the time of his death. He was a member of the Ord Catholic Church for many years. Survivors are three sons, Alfons and Joseph of Ord, and Maurice of David City; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Mettenbrink and Mrs. Margaret Potrzeba, both of Grand Island; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
