Immigrated in 1912 with two cousins ---------------------------------- Obituary of Ignatius Krason Funeral services were held Monday for Ignatius J. Krason who died Aug. 24, 1973 at Valley County Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Krason was 78. A native of Poland he was born Feb. 1, 1895 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Krason. He came to Illinois in 1912 and settled in Valley County in 1917. He and Frances Koziol were married Jan. 26, 1921 at Ord and after marriage they lived on a farm in Valley county moving to Ord in 1945 where he was employed in bricklaying and masonry. He was a member of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church of Ord. Survivors are his wife of Ord; three sons Thad of Ord, Florian of Camp Hill, Pa., and Robert of Cozad; a daughter Mrs. Isabelle Ruzicka of Sargent; 25 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister Valeria Krason in Poland. He was preceded in death by a daughter, his parents, one brother, two sisters and one great-grandchild. The Rev. Stanley Gorak officiated at the 10 am Mass. Burial was in the Ord Catholic Cemetery.
