Bio

Born in Valley County, Nebraska on a farm where he lived for 75 years. His mother died when he was young and he was raised by his father and sisters. He received his education at the Fort Hartsuff School. Married Helen Setlik in Geranium Catholic Church west of Ord. In 1982 they moved to Grand Island. He was a past school board member of Fort Hartsuff School; past township board member in Elyria; on the North Loup Irrigation Board for 35 years; FHA Committeeman; member of the Lion Club and the Elk's Club. Member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island. Survived by his wife, Helen, two daughters, Adeline Hamilton of Carlsbad, Calif., and Mary Dubas of New York City; two sons, Harold of Riverside, Calif., and Kenneth of Salinas, Calif; one sister, Eva Kapustka of Ord; and two brothers, Floyd of Falls Church, Va., and Ted of Lincoln. Preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
