Bio
Mrs. Ross (Zona V. Hancock) Rowland, who resided at 5624 N. Garrison Ct. in Tulsa, died Wednesday at St. John Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born Jan 8, 1906 in Chandler and had been a resident of Tulsa for the past 15 years. Prior to living in Tulsa, she had lived in Sapulpa for 58 years. Survivors include her husband, Ross; three sons, Don and Harod Hancock of Drumright and James Hancock of Glenpool; five daughters, Madge Tessin and Carolyn Stewart, both of Tulsa, Beatrice Gilbert of Coweta, Deanna Bruton of Mounds and Jeannie Butler of California; 47 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Services will be held Saturday with Owen Funeral Home in charge. The family will headquarter at the residence of James Hancock in Glenpool.
