Ed Rajewich Ed Rajewich, 80, of Ord died March 24, 1996 at the Valley County Nursing Home in Ord. Services are at 10:30 a.m., Thurs., March 28, at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ord. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Rajewich was born Feb. 4, 1916 at Gregory, S.D., to Anton and Anna (Karl) Rajewich of Gregory, S.D. He attended rural school in Gregory County and farmed with his parents. He married Georgia Cervenka of Colome, S.D., on Feb. 20, 1939. They lived near Gregory S.D., for seven years before moving to Ord, where he went into partnership with his father and brother in a gas station, implement business and farm operation. Mr. Rajewich retired in 1978. For the next 15 years, he and his wife wintered in Texas. He enjoyed bowling, cards and pool. When in Ord, he spent time in his workshop. He also like to dance, camp and fish. He played the saxophone, clarinet and accordion and his family had their own band for several years. Survivors include his wife, Georgia of Ord; one daughter, Joan (Mrs. Carroll) Barnes of Central City; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Rajewich of Ord; and one sister, Mildred Ferris of Milford.
