Thomas Albin Peterson, age 85 of Chipley, Florida, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 in the Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Thomas was born December 10, 1926 in Bay Minette, Alabama to the late Forrest and Eva (Pierce) Peterson. A resident of Chipley since 1968, he was a former electrician with the Washington County School Board. Thomas was a member of the Family Worship Center in Chipley. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Delia Peterson of Chipley; two sons, Tommy Peterson and wife Joan of Chipley,Glen Peterson and wife Connie of Cottondale; one daughter, Bobbie Newell and husband Bob of Chipley; one brother, Wallace Peterson of Chipley; one sister, Kathaleen Anger of Milton; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel with Theo Baxter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Chipley. Friends and family may sign the online register at www.brownfh.net.
