Born to Forrest and Eva (Pierce) Peterson in Tibbie, Alabama went to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, April 5, 2007. He was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida and a former member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was a graduate of Pensacola High School Class of 1956. He worked for Pleezing Food Store before entering the military. He retired from the United States Air Force after proudly serving twenty years. He also retired from Falcon Jet Company in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a member of the American Legion Post 172, Warner Robins, Georgia. Charlie was a humble, kind, caring Christian, and he also was very patriotic. He was very proud of serving his country. He loved gospel and country music. He was an avid Arkansas Razor Back and Georgia Bulldog fan. Playing bingo was also a favorite pastime. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lee Peterson, step son Bob Depetris, three brothers Clyde, Carl and William (Willie) Peterson; one sister Marie Watt; one special brother in law Richard Guynes.
