Bio
ORD - Floyd L. Wozniak, 64, a retired farmer and businessman, died Monday at his home in Ord after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Ord Catholic Church. The Rev. Stanley Gorak will officiate. Burial will be in the Ord Catholic Cemeery. The rosary will be recited Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Hastings-Pearson Chapel at Ord. Mr. Wozniak, the son of Joe and Julia Wozniak, was born Jan. 10, 1900, at Elyria. He and Alma C. Krahulik were married March 3, 1930 at Ord. They farmed near Elyria until 1955 when they moved to Ord. He worked for the North Loup Irrigation Distrit for three years and operated a beer tavern for several years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rita Freeman of South Sioux City and Mrs. Patricia Grove of Ord; one son, Floyd Jr. of Brainard; his mother and one sister, Mrs. Rose Bosler, both of Denver; one brother, Dr. Ed Wozniak of Pueblo, Colo.; six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
