George Harrison Ruggless Services for George Harrison Ruggless, who died in the Veteran's Hospital, Des Moines, Wednesday, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in his home, 330 Taft Avenue, and at 1:30 p.m. in the West End Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. E.R. Mitchell of West Point, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd Snyder. Burial will be in the Ottumwa Cemetery. Mr. Ruggless was born in Prairie City September 19, 1893, the son of Marion and Ingabee Ruggless. He came to Ottumwa in 1920. He was married to Sarah MacKenzie at Fairfield in 1923. For the last eight years he had been employed by the city. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a charter member of chance post, American Legion at Adel. Surviving are his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Delbert Lee and Mrs. Paul Kilmer of Des Moines and Mrs. Cloyd Thompson of Thayer; two brothers, Algern M. of Ames and Lee F. of Washington, D.C., and 17 nieces and nephews. Military services will be held by members of O.B. Nelson post, No. 3, American Legion. OTTUMWA COURIER
