Married Mary Isabell Leroy (1862–1936) on 16 March 1882 Married Stella (Cooper) Storms (1887-1944) on 23 Aug 1920 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The passing of another pioneer took place Monday afternoon when S. Kelley died at his home north of Morrill. He had been ill for several days, of pneumonia following influenza. Mr. Kelley was a pioneer of this vicinity, coming here and homsteading on the Dutch Flats 2 miles north of Morrill in 1906 where with his youngest daughter,Grace, for several years. After the daughters marriage, Mr. Kelley resided on the homstead whch was near by his other daughter and family, for a few years and then moved to Morrill where he has since resided. Samuel Franklin Kelley was born September 26, 1859 in the state if Illinois. He grew to manhood and married there. His wife died when their two daughters were quite young. Mr. Kelley then kept the children with him acting as mother too, and in the spring of 1906 homesteaded here. On August 23 1920 he was again married to Mrs Stella Storms at Cannon City, Colorado, to this union were born two children Violet Lenora and Ralph Franklin. Mr. Kelley took sick October 26 and died November 24, aged 65 years, 1 month, and 9 days. He leaves to morn his departure, his wife, 3 daughters, 1 son, besides some step children and several grandchildren. His 2 eldest daughters were Mrs. Maryland Parberry of Morrill who is now seriously ill, and Mrs Grace Stowel of Scottsbluff. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Samuel Linn at the Presbyterian Church Wednesday afternoon and internment made in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. November 6, 1924 Morrill Mail
