Ezekiel Lemuel 'Lee' Templeton Jr. was born in 1879 in Tennessee. He married Irene Mausner , daughter of George Mausner and Frances Arkansas Bryant. The 1930 Federal Census for Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Lee Templeton, a lineman for the phone company, age 51, born in Tennessee; and his wife, Irene, age 37, born in Texas. Living with them was Lee's daughter, Winona Templeton, a peanut factory laborer, age 17, born in Oklahoma; and his stepchildren: Lynn Dupree, age 15, born in Oklahoma, and Dorleen Dupree, age 10, born in Oklahoma. Also living in the household was Irene's mother, Frances Turley, a widow, age 74, born in South Carolina. The 1940 Federal Census for Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows E. L. Templeton, a night watchman, age 63, born in Tennessee; and his wife, Irene, age 46, born in Texas. Living with them was E. L.'s stepdaughter, Dorleen Dupree, age 20, born in Oklahoma.
