According to research by Jennifer Styskal Faust (# 47308726) he was December 20, 1863 in house #60, Strampouch, Kutna Hora, Central Bohemia, the son of Jan Bohuslavsky and Josefa Vanise. Married Antonie Vanis (his cousin) on May 8, 1888 at David City, Nebr. by Joseph Dusta, Justice of the Peace. ''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), May 3, 1951, p. 8, col. 6 AGED ABIE MAN DIED APRIL 12 Abie, April 30 – Vaclav Bohuslavsky, 86, in failing health for several years, died at the Prague hospital April 12. Funeral services were held in Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic church in Abie April 14, with the Rev. Boniface Tomek in charge. The church choir sang and six grandsons served as pallbearers: Victor, Emil, Ernest, Eugene and Richard Bohuslavsky and Ernest Kotera. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marie Kotera of Bee, four sons, Joe of David City, Jim of Rising City, Anton of Bruno, and Louis of Prague; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. His wife died February 8, 1949, two years after they had celebrated their golden wedding. Mrs. Bohuslavsky was the former Antonie Vanis, and they were married in Abie in 1897. Mr. Bohuslavsky was a native of Czechoslovakia, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bohuslavsky. He had lived in the Abie vicinity many years and was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul's church and the K.D. lodge.
