Bio
Ida T. Hollub Mareth, 101, of Victoria, passed away December 7, 2017. Ida was born September 6, 1916 in Jackson County, TX to the late W.L. and Josephine Hairell Hollub. Ida was proud that she graduated from high school and completed the L.V.N program, where she worked as a nurse for a short time. She also taught school at High Valley School. Ida adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William F. Mareth, and 4 sisters, Thelma Hessong Ellis, Mae Hessong, Julia Burns and Willie Lee Venglar. Visitation will be Monday, December 11, 2017, from 9-10 AM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church with a funeral service to follow at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
