The Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), October 15, 1925, p. 4, col. 3 BRUNO ITEMS The funeral of Jacob Kastl took place Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the home to St. Anthony's church, Rev. Father Bauer conducting the services. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The pall-bearers were the brothers-in-law of the deceased. Jacob Kastl [died] at his home on Thursday morning. He was 42 years of age. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Joseph and Bohumil, his father, Jacob Kastl Sr. and several brothers and sisters. The funeral was very largely attended by relatives and friends of the family. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved.
