According to her probate file she died November 1, 1915 and was survived by six children: Mary Shonka of Colfax County, Nebr., and Catherine Gruntorad, Anna Roh, Joseph J. Prochaska, Frank Prochaska, and Vaclav Prochaska, all of Butler County. ''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), November 4, 1915, p. 8, col. 3 Abie Mrs. Marie [ sic ] Prochaska died at her home Monday, Nov. 1. She had been ill about four months. Funeral services were held in Sts. Peter's and Paul's church Tuesday, Nov. 2, and were conducted by Rev. Father Nemec. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Prochaska is survived by five children, two sons and three daughters.
