Linda Adams Nelson, aged 52 , passed away on September 17, 2012, at her home in Provo, Utah, after a 24 year battle with Lupus/MS. Linda was born August 10, 1960, in Spanish Fork, Utah. She attended Spanish Fork High School and Utah Valley Technical College. She was employed by Brigham Young University until she was no longer able to work due to illness. After a record breaking streak of dating, Linda consented to be Gregg Nelson's cherished wife. They were married in September of 1990. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served numerous callings. She was wholly devoted to her family and spent untold hours loving and helping, inspiring and teaching, teasing and tormenting; but most of all, loving her nieces and nephews. Linda had a lightning quick, wicked sense of humor. Her April Fools pranks are legendary; and, she was the ultimately fun party planner. She is survived by her husband, Gregg Nelson; her parents, Faye and Allen Adams; sisters, Diane Adams and Mary (Garry) Briggs, and brother, Douglas (Susan) Adams, and many nieces and nephews who adored her. At Linda's request, a graveside service to honor and remember her will be on Saturday, September 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork Cemetery. The family wishes to acknowledge all the devoted care provided by her faithful sister, Diane, and by her loving husband, Gregg; as well as her caregivers, all of whom have kindly and steadfastly assisted Linda for so many years.
