Bio

Betty Marge Morris of Cottage Grove died Oct. 27 of age-related causes. She was 75. Betty was born Feb. 12, 1929, in Loretto, Neb., to Ray and Minnie Stewart Morris. She married Elmer Earl Morris on June 22, 1944, in Newman's Grove, Neb. He died in 1988. She enjoyed gardening, baking cinnamon rolls and playing bingo. She had lived in Cottage Grove for 52 years. She attended the Cottage Grove Family Praise Center and belonged to the Cottage Grove Moose Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hover of Cottage Grove and Betty Dockery of Midall, Okla.; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Burial at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
