Bio

Hattie Pavlicek, 101, of Seymour, Texas, moved to Baylor County in 1906. Christian Wake services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev Richard Eldredge officiating. Hermina "Hattie" Marak and Bedrich W. Pavlicek were married 25 November 1920, in St. John's Catholic Church in Bomarton. He preceded her in death. Hattie was a homemaker and a substitute rural mail carrier. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas where she was an officer for 59 years, WWI Auxiliary, Seymour Hospital Auxiliary and SPJST. Hattie loved music and was a concert pianist and violinist. She was also a drummer with the Bomarton Czech band and served as choir leader at Bomarton St. John Catholic Church for 56 years. She attended Bomarton High School where she played basketball in 1916 and 1917.
