Bio
Services for Emil Marak were held at the Catholic Church with Rev. Edward Bastien officiating. Mr. Marak moved to West Texas with his parents in his youth. He moved to Bomarton in 1905, where he lived until his death. He was an active K.J.T. member, serving for a number of years as secretary for the local lodge. He received his 50 year membership pin in 1959. He married Mary Katherine Orsak on 17 January 1910 at Bomarton. The celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1960 with all the children present. Survived by his wife; one son - George Marak; five daughters - Mrs. John Dvorak, Sister Mary Jacinta, Mrs. George E. Holub, Mrs. Leon Groves, Helen Marak; 10 grandchildren; three brothers - John, Roman and August Marak; three sisters - Mrs. L.J. Macha, Mrs. Antone Kohut, Mrs. B.W. Pavlicek.
