Funeral rites for Mrs. Rose Cooper BRYAN, wife of Gus BRYAN, were conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, in the First Methodist Church, Perryton. Mrs. BRYAN, 73, and a Perryton area resident since 1903, died at 10 p.m. Thursday in Sanford Hospital, where she had been a patient for three days. She was born in Chautagua county, Kansas, on September 30, 1892, the daughter of Allen and Lovina Fesler COOPER. Conducting her services were W. C. BRYAN, Methodist lay minister, and Rev. James Tidwell, Perryton Methodist pastor. Interment in Ochiltree cemetery was directed by Boxwell Bros. Mrs. BRYAN's pallbearers were Lee ROSTON, George NICE, Howard WILLIAMS, W. B. BARCLAY, Ed BRYAN and Mike WILLIAMS. Surviving are her husband, Gus BRYAN, 322 S. Amherst; two sons, Loyd McCUNDAY of La Puenti, California, and Raymond McCURDY of Perryton; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Violetta) HOY of Norwalk, California; a brother, Henry COOPER of Balko; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
