Bio

J.T. Parker, 84, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2001. He was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Alvin, Texas to John T. and Addie Breeding Parker. Formerly of Houston, J.T. had been a resident of Georgetown for 28 years. He was a member of the Optimist Club, V.F.W. and also served in the United States Army during World War II. Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Harold Sidney Parker of Georgetown. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Annie Evelyn Spencer Parker; two daughters, Pamela Jernigan and husband Jay of Georgetown and Kay May and husband Larry of Georgetown; son John T. Parker III and wife Lydia of Galveston; brother Ralph Parker and wife Peggee of Austin; sister Vivian Dunman of Austin; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
