Ralph Eugene Parker passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2006, in Austin, Texas, where he resided for over 60 years. He was born on February 6, 1920, in Alvin, Texas. He served for four years in World War II as a Captain in the United States Air Force. After graduating from the University of Texas, Ralph worked for 33 years as the accountant for Walter Tips Hardware in Austin. He attended First Baptist Church of Austin. He also served as Scout Master for Troop #59. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggee Nell Schieffer Parker of Austin; son, Russell Scott Parker and wife, Jeanne of Austin; granddaughters, Linda Michelle Parker and Stacey Lynn Parker, both of Austin; sister, Vivian Dunman; as well as many nieces, nephews; and other loving family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
