Dennis, Oscar O. Oscar O. Dennis, 73, of Oaklawn, died at his home at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at Compton's Chapel at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. E. D. Dunlap officiating, burial in Bosqueville Cemetery. Survivors: His widow, Martha Dennis; three sons, K. A., J. D., and Lee Dennis, all of Waco; eight daughters, Mrs. L. M. Jenkins, Mrs. L. C. Rogers, Mrs. W. O. Pryor, all of Waco; Mrs. H. R. Jones of El Paso, Mrs. Sam Dempsey and Mrs. T. J. Ivey of Wasco; Mrs. T. W. Wallace of Wasco, Calif.; Mrs. Conroe Brown of Waco: three brothers, R. W. Dennis of Iredell, J. M. Dennis of Moody, Jim Dennis of Raleigh, N. C.; 33 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: T. C. Mitchner, Lennox Wortham, George White, Addis McNamara, Albert Cobb, W. E. Rentzy.
