Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), February 22, 1934, p. 1, col. 6 FUNERAL SERVICES MONDAY. Joseph Viglicky Passed Away on Saturday, February 17. Abie, Feb. 19 - Funeral services for Joseph F. Viglicky, who passed away at his home near Edholm Saturday, Feb. 17, were held from Sts. Peter's and Paul's Catholic church, Abie, Monday morning with Rev. Father Kasny in charge. Singing was by the Abie Catholic church choir. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery at Abie by side of the grave of his first wife, who passed away in 1918. Death of Mr. Viglicky was caused from pleurisy after illness of about a week. Mr. Viglicky is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Votava Viglicky, four daughters, Adeline (Mrs. Joseph Hovorka) of Linwood, Mary (Mrs. John Krca) of Schuyler, Emma (Mrs. Peter Votava) of Edholm and Martha Viglicky at home; two sons, Anton Viglicky and Joe Viglicky; also his aged mother, Mrs. Frances Viglicky, of Linwood, and one brother, Anton Viglicky of Edholm.
