Born in the village of Podmoky, county of Caslav, Moravia, Bohemia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic). ''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), August 29, 1912, p. 8, col. 1 & 2 Abie Grandpa Vrana died Thursday morning, August 22, at the age of 79 years. He is survived by Mrs. Vrana and five children. The funeral services were held on Sunday and were by Rev. Father Zalud of Bruno and Rev. Father Nemec of Abie. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery.
