Memorial Services were held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 29, 1993 at the Aurora First Christian Church. Interment was held in the Bellwood Cemetery in Bellwood, Nebraska. OBITUARY: Florence Belle Jacobs Florence Belle (Vincent)Jacobs, the daughter of Ernest and Florence (Sampson) Vincent, was born at Bellwood, Nebraska, on January 2, 1916, and died at Grand Island, Nebraska, on March 14, 1993, at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 12 days. She grew up at Bellwood, and received her education at the Bellwood Public Schools. On January 11, 1939, she was united in marriage to Ronald Jacobs, at Madison, Nebraska. She had lived at Columbus, Nebraska, and for the past 10 years has lived in Aurora. Florence attended the Methodist Church, and while living in Aurora was a volunteer fund raiser for the Senior Citizen Handi-Bus. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Mabel, Elsie and Gussie, and 3 brothers, Ernest, Wayne, and LeRoy. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her son Ron "Jake" Jacobs of Columbus; 3 daughters, Pat Hutchison (Mrs. Eldon) of Aurora, Vanetta Wyman of Silver Creek, and Rose Foltz (Mrs. Jerome) of Humphrey. One sister Virginia Hilton of Anchorage, Alaska. 16 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. This information was from the Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.
