LUBBOCK-Gertrude Trudy Davis, 79, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012. She was born April 4, 1933, in Lubbock, Texas, to Euin Shelby and Arrena Wilson Evans. She married Marlo Dwight Davis on March 6, 1952, in Brownfield. She was preceded in death by two sons, Joel and Carl Davis. Her survivors include her husband, Marlo; son, Denver Davis of Lubbock; daughter, Doris Roye of Lubbock; brother, Kenneth Evans of Ropesville; two sisters, Lillie Frances Breeden of Lubbock and Lavoun McGahey of Chandler; daughter-in-law, Glenda Ramirez; grandchildren, Brian Roye and Crystal Davis; and a great-great grandson, Logan Thomas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sanders Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
