Maiden name provided by contributor Beth Hancock Cross (#46897082). ___________________________ The last surviving child of Smith L. Dollar and Ruth Ellen Dollar passed quietly into the arms of Jesus on June 1, 2008 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene and eight siblings: Dorothy Dollar Mattox, Dora Dollar Campbell, Fred Dollar, Linn Dollar Sr., Virgil Dollar, Robert Dollar, Ronald Dollar and Dick Dollar. She is survived by her 4 children and their spouses: Shirley and David Michael, Vancouver; Raymond and Barbara Darrow, Vancouver; Debbie and David Haas, Battle Ground; Tim (Robert) and Linda Darrow, Battle Ground. 15 grand-children and 5 great-grandchildren. 3 sister-in laws: Betty Dollar, Battle Ground; Lorraine Dollar, Lincoln City, OR; Edith Dollar, Kelso, WA and their children and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday June 6, 2008 at the Old Manor-Wilson Bridge Cemetery, 14540 NE 72nd Ave. Followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at Layne's Funeral Home, 16 NE Clark Ave, Battle Ground and a light meal at the Dollars Corner Moose Lodge, 6719 NE 219th Street, Dollar's Corner.
