Birth date from Pavla Vlckova (#50071006). Born in the village of Podmoky, county of Caslav, Bohemia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic), the son of Franta and Katy (Nowak) Fenrych. Brother of Vaclav Fendrich . Married Mary (Voboril) Hamsa on February 1, 1885 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. According to his probate file he died at Omaha on September 4, 1912 and his heirs were his children Antony Cemper of David City (age 26), Emma Svoboda of Linwood (23), Jerry J. Fendrich of Abie (24), Annie Fendrich of Linwood (20), and Emil Fendrich of Beatrice (18) (Butler County probate file #764). The body was brought here Friday and burial was on Saturday in the Catholic cemetery. The bereaved children have heartfelt sympathy of the community in their great loss. Their mother died two years ago.
