Daughter of Kathrina Roth, she was born in Darmstadt, Germany. She was married to Dean S. Shelton on Oct. 5, 1957, in Aschaffenburg, Germany. They moved to Loveland in 1970. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing and the mountains. She was survived by her husband; a son; and a brother and sister both in Aschaffenburg.
